Nurse Practitioner – University Place
Jessica Fierst is a family nurse practitioner. During the first half of her career, she worked in women’s health and primary care, where she came to recognize how integral mental health is to physical health and overall well-being. She understands that a person’s ability to achieve their desired level of physical health is directly influenced by their mental health and emotional well-being. She is passionate about ensuring that the medications she prescribes for her patients are both tolerable and effective, and she enjoys working closely with her patients to find the right medication to fit their mental health needs.
As a family nurse practitioner, Jessica is trained to treat patients of all ages for a variety of physical and mental health diagnoses. She performs basic mental health screenings but does not administer the intensive assessments more appropriately performed by psychiatric mental health providers. She is excited to be practicing at Molleston Luke Counseling and looks forward to providing mental health medication management for adults and adolescents.
Aside from a 2-year move to Iowa, Jessica has always called the PNW home. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places, cooking (especially fast, healthy meals), gardening and spending time with her family.
