Celia Courser

MA, LMFT

Clinician

Celia has a passion for helping children and families strengthen their communication and relationships through play. Celia’s therapeutic approach is play-based, mindful, and client-centered. Celia believes in the power of connection with self and others as a foundational part of healing the mind and body.

Celia enjoys working with children, teens, young adults, parents, and families. She has a special interest in enhancing the parent-child relationship, supporting children through divorce, and assisting the development/maintenance of a co-parent relationship. Celia also has clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, behavior challenges, and life transitions.

Celia completed her undergraduate work at Western Washington University, earning a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy. Although her career path changed, her innate care for others’ healing did not; she simply learned her empathic nature was not meant to be confined to the healing of one’s body, but one’s mind and soul as well. Celia continued on to earn a Masters of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy, as well as a certificate in play therapy. Celia is grateful for her undergraduate education and integrates her knowledge of the human body within her therapeutic work.

In her free time, Celia enjoys exploring nature, hiking, doing puzzles, binge-watching her favorite shows, and spending time with her wife, daughter, dog, and two cats.
