Whitney approaches her clients with openness and seeking to connect with their unique goals for therapy. She is warm, passionate, and values giving her clients a safe place to be themselves. She deeply believes in resiliency and guiding individuals towards a more authentic connection to themselves and to others.

Whitney is strongly informed by Internal Family Systems therapy to help clients increase clarity, self compassion and confidence. Her diverse clinical experiences make her confident in helping clients face various concerns including, depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, relationship conflict, identity concerns, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, parenting, and spirituality. Whitney is focused on holistic care. She recognizes that people and relationships are vastly complex and interrelated; and that this necessitates focusing on many life areas that may be contributing to difficulties and stress. Her training and experience as a Medical Family Therapist allows her to support clients experiencing the stressors of biomedical illness and diagnoses; while also providing support to caregivers and health professionals as they navigate their complex roles. Whitney also brings targeted clinical knowledge and experience in the treatment of eating disorders and body image issues facing all people of all ages. She uses her expertise as an athlete and coach to uniquely support those facing compulsive behaviors around exercise, challenges with injuries, and difficulties with sport specific stressors and anxiety. Whitney’s other professional experience and interests include Maternal Mental Health and supporting individuals and families from pregnancy through post-partum. She is experienced providing therapy to partners using Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment-based treatment.

The PNW is where Whitney is most at home. She attended Seattle Pacific University for her undergraduate and graduate studies. Whitney’s commitment to the field of therapy and the development of others has resulted in work as a clinical supervisor and past positions in academia as an adjunct undergraduate professor, practicum supervisor, and seminar speaker.
