Scott is an attentive and effective clinician that works hard to walk alongside his clients and meet them wherever they are. He has spent the last six years as a therapist in community mental health in Olympia where he has had the privilege to work with a wide assortment of people.
He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and enjoys working with folks that are seeking resolution from trauma. His training in EMDR and subsequent experience has transformed his perspective on therapy. Scott is experienced in trauma therapy, working with depression, and anger management problems as well as leading groups like Women’s Empowerment, addressing the stories of interpersonal trauma survivors. He enjoys working with teens, individuals and family units.
He has spent the vast majority of his life in Western Washington and grew up in Gray’s Harbor. Scott loves to spend time with his child, Dakota; they are likely to be found watching movies and tv shows or playing games. He also loves to cycle and express his creativity in many forms of art. Scott has a dog named Dobby that is in the process of becoming a therapy dog.
