Kambra is passionate about meeting clients where they are at, and adapting therapy to best fit the individual and their goals. She currently holds basic skills certifications in DBT Skills and Natural Lifemanship (an equine-assisted modality) and is excited to be training for EMDR certification.
Kambra’s therapeutic style is best described as person-centered, integrating CBT, mindfulness, DBT, narrative therapy, and existential psychology as dictated by the needs of the client. She works with all individuals ages 13 and up, and particularly enjoys working with teens, young adults, and female-identifying individuals. Her areas of clinical focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, family and attachment difficulties, life transitions, and self-actualization. She believes strongly that all individuals hold within themselves the power to enact change and healing.
A native Washingtonian, Kambra is originally from the rural Southwestern part of the state. She has called Puyallup home for almost a decade, alongside her husband and their pets. She is her happiest outdoors, and particularly enjoys mountain biking, camping, and dabbling in dog sports. A lifelong creative hobbyist and artist, she is always open to bringing art supplies into therapy sessions for clients who wish to do so.
